HEMI Powered 1965 Plymouth Fury III Convertible! Rare MOPAR Restomod

CUSTOM HEMI FURY III CONVERTIBLE!

This custom built 1965 Plymouth Fury III Convertible is powered by a 5.7L HEMI V8 and 5-Speed automatic transmission. Transplanted from a 2004 RAM, this power plant is not the only upgrade. Enhanced braking power is controlled by a Wilwood master cylinder, and oversized Wilwood front calipers and discs. Working with stock rear drum brakes, this combination easily brings this monster to a controlled halt when necessary. Custom 20" wheels and redline radials provide an aggressive stance, while their design and color lend a nod to the original "Hot Wheels" toys of the '60s.

This beauty was built to both show and go! It is a true driver, making smooth power around town with plenty of torque to cruise on the highway. Built on a solid frame, the custom body work included removing much of the original side trim, leaving a clean and smooth background. Dressed in a unique "Gray Green" metallic base/clear finish, this car commands attention. A black Hartz cloth convertible top works as it should and complements the overall black and gray/green color scheme. The bumpers and remaining trim/brightwork are in very good condition.

Inside, you will find the original black interior in excellent condition, while the black carpet appears to have been replaced recently and is in like new condition. The floor mounted Lokar shifter manages shifting duties and adds a touch of style and safety. While the factory dash trim and hardware remains complete and original, it shows very well for it's age. Entertainment is provided by a flush mounted Pioneer head unit with CD player hidden in the glove box. While appearing to be original, the black vinyl seats are in good overall condition with minimal signs of wear.
