1930 Ford Coupe, Steel Body/Glass Fenders, 350ci with 3-Deuces!

Dressed in Emerald Green Metallic and Ivory Leather, this 1930 Ford 5-Window coupe stands out among a sea of Street Rods. Built on an all-steel body with fiberglass fenders, this beauty exudes high-quality. Although not perfect, the slick finish shows well with custom pinstriping and beautiful details. A Street Rod isn't complete without modern touches to make it drive like it was built today and this 1930 Coupe has plenty. Lifting the hood reveals the dependable combination of a small-block 350ci Chevy engine mated to a 700R4 overdrive transmission is deployed between the framerails. Jazzed up with three two-barrel carburetors, it is kept cool with an aluminum radiator enhanced by a shrouded electric fan. The engine compartment is dressed to shine with polished aluminum features including the underdriven crank pulley, accessory drive pulleys and brackets, valve covers, breather cap, intake, alternator, A/C compressor, and even a billet distributor.

Meanwhile, the suspension gets a healthy upgrade of coilover shocks both front and rear. A Mustang II style front setup means predictable rack-and-pinion steering paired with polished upper and lower control arms for strength and good looks. Out back, a parallel four-link with a Panhard bar keeps the 8-inch Ford rearend pointed straight and planted.

BF Goodrich radial tires wrap the never-out-of-style American Racing Torque Thrust wheels. There is plenty of stopping power for this lightweight in the form of front disc brakes paired with rear drums. A stainless front grille and custom Rat Fink artwork on the differential housing (done by Joey Horton) complete the hot rod feel of this coupe.

Inside, a perfectly contrasting Ivory leather interior on the seats, door panels, headliner, and even the steering wheel welcome you home. Whatever isn't Ivory is either body color, chrome, or billet starting with the LOKAR shifter with a built-in indicator. Other shiny bits include the chrome gas pedal assembly, billet brake pedal pad, billet steering wheel and adapter, billet column drop-down bracket, billet rearview mirror, and billet door handles. Gauges from Classic Instruments monitor the vitals: speedometer, oil pressure, water temperature, fuel level, voltage, and a column-mounted tach. You will be cruising in comfort with a modern air-conditioning unit as well. The glass is in good condition, with the exception of the front windshield, which shows a small crack. Not to be outdone, the trunk is leather-matched to the interior.
