The 1957 Chevy is usually the first to come to mind when it comes to classic Chevys, but the 1955 model started it all and was an instant success with an all-new body design. It was the first year that Chevrolet offered the optional overhead-valve 265ci V8 with three trim packages: 150, 210, and the top-of-the-line Bel Air hardtop. Making 355 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque, a 5.7-liter ZZ4 GM Performance Parts crate engine nestles under the hood. Backed by a Hurst-shifted Tremec five-speed manual transmission, this ZZ4 has plenty of spunk. The engine bay is tidy but not overdone. Aluminum valve covers, chrome air cleaner, and chrome alternator with billet brackets dress it up. Creature comforts include an electric fan, power steering, front disc brakes, and Vintage Air air conditioning.

The interior is a new factory-correct beige cloth with blue vinyl and custom bound blue Daytona-weave carpet protected by rubber "Bel Air" floormats. The factory gauges are in clear working order with a chrome AutoMeter "Street Tach" added on the column adorned with a custom leather-wrapped billet steering wheel. All of the knobs and bezels appear in new or restored condition. Tunes come through Pioneer kick panel speakers provided through a Custom Autosound with XM satellite head unit, which is also connected to a 10-disc changer in the trunk.
